The underground roof pictured here presented McClintock Roofing with a variety of new challenges, the biggest of course was the altitude adjustment. (I don't know how you ground dwellers get used to it.)

We called on the experts and Beacon Sales in Hartford for the technical support we needed. It turned out that this was a system they new well and we were able to build the roof with no problems at all.

The drip edge with the extended clips and copper screening were our own invention to prevent soil from running over the edge during rain storms. These were fabricated in our sheet metal shop.
