This house had a cedar shingle roof installed when it was first built. They wanted a heavier, more textured look of cedar shakes. McClintock Roofing was referred to the owner by Beacon Sales of Hartford.

McClintock Roofing installed MEEKER 24" Heavies. These are western red cedar shakes with a 3/4" butt that helped the bow of this roof stand out. All the flashing were fabricated from copper in our sheet metal shop. A copper ridge cap was fabricated and installed. Rain water washing across this over the years will help prevent algae from growing on the roof.
